After they arrived, we still had rock climbing...and some snow

The Duck race of Estes Park. We bought two ducks this year and arrived just in time to see them drop! They float down the Big Thompson River, which ultimately starts at the Continential Divide folks, and end up in town. There are hundreds of prizes and we got none of them but it was still fun! So nice to have Jake and Kassie here! We miss them!
So Jake and Kassie (J and K) arrived on Friday, Saturday was the duck race, Sunday was climbing at the Monastery. It was awesome. The day started out lovely with a little hike to the rocks but it was such great views! Callahan led the way!
I really like the picture to my left.. it looks cool to see them both climbing. And the one of the right, it shows how large the rock that Seth was climbing really is...huge!
Kassie, all the way at the top. Seth and I went on to climb this one... it was fun and tall.
So tall that the rope ended...on the right, a 5.12 something... this means it's  difficult. And a storm started to blow in, a cold front really.
A a lot of snow started to fall and it didn't stop. Luckily, it had been so warm hardly any of it stuck.
Stay tuned for part two...and the snow!
